UJI KEMAMPUAN RENDAMAN KULIT BUAH JERUK NIPIS (CITRUS AURANTIFOLIA) TERHADAP PENGENDALIAN KECOA

<p>Kecoa merupakan serangga yang seringkali mengganggu kenyamanan hidup manusia serta menyebarkan berbagai patogen penyakit. Beberapa penyakit ditularkan oleh kecoa diantaranya tipus, diare, hepatitis, asma, dan kolera. Pada umumnya pengendalian dilakukan dengan menyemprot insektisida sintesis. Penggunaan sintesis memang memiliki beberapa keuntungan seperti kemudahan dalam mengoprasikannya, efektivitas tinggi, daya kerja cepat, dapat digunakan setiap waktu, mudah diperoleh. Namun penggunaan tidak tepat berlebihan secara terus menerus menimbulkan resistensi pencemaran lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan alternatif untuk mengendalikan agar mencemari lingkungan mengurangi resiko kontaminasi residu pestisida. Insektisida sedang dikembangkan adalah pemanfaatan tumbuh-tumbuhan bunga, daun, akar, kulit biji dihancurkan kemudian langsung sebagai atau bahan beracun diektraksi terlebih dahulu baru botani.</p><p>Penelitian ini penelitian <em>true </em>eksperimen melakukan pengamatan terhadap rendaman jeruk nipis (<em>Citrus aurantiifolia</em>) kecoa. jumlah kematian telah disemprot menggunakan konsentrasi nipis, yaitu 0% (kontrol), 40%, 50%, 60% 70% pada kotak.</p>Dari hasil efektifitas masing-masing konsetrasi), menujukkan presentase dimana 40% mati sebesar 57%, 50% 71%, 86% 100%.
